EIC Pathfinder Unveils Strategic Plan “Towards the Healthcare Continuum”

The European Innovation Council (EIC) is proud to announce the release of its new Strategic Plan for the Healthcare Continuum portfolio:
“Towards the Healthcare Continuum: Technologies to Support a Radical Shift from Episodic to Continuous Healthcare.”

This Plan outlines a visionary roadmap to transform healthcare from reactive, episodic care into continuous, technology-enabled support. It identifies key priorities including unobtrusive sensing, AI-driven analytics, system integration, and governance frameworks around privacy, regulation, and adoption.

By aligning a diverse portfolio of high-risk, high-potential research initiatives under a shared strategic direction, the EIC aims to accelerate innovations that can detect risks earlier, reduce hospitalizations, personalize interventions, and empower patients with more responsive care.
